Ten wishes and the progress so far
1. My weight as of 27-DEC-08 is 84. I want my weighing machine to flash 73 when I climb it
*** All efforts I am keeping are going futile because I am getting attracted to junk just after one week of proper dieting :( MUST find a solution for this.
2. I wanna see Rs.50,000 in my salary account after all deductions
*** Recession sucks big time. Normally for my current efforts I must get a promotion this April drawing this dream little closer. But due to recession I dont know what the management decides!
3. I want to marry the girl I love
*** Good thing is I spoke to her parents. they are OK with me! :) but the catch is they want the marriage to happen in a Super grand way ! and expecting huge function from me too. Around Six lakh Indian Rupees is what they expect me to spend. If I spend some three lakh indian rupees for everything put together I will be on safe side. Else I will be in neck-deep loans. Don't know why she doesnt understand all these calculations! She too stubbornly wants the marriage to happen in a Grand way!
4. I want to tour entire europe. Especially I want to visit 221, Bakerstreet, London
*** I don't think I must think about this in current situation :) this can definitely wait!
5. I must learn programming! I want to write an application
**** There is little progress in only this dream :) I already created two tools at office which the office ppl found quite useful!
First tool is launched and used fully. And second tool I launched only partially. To make the tool work exactly as I envisioned, I am learning VBA. Will update this once I launch the tool fully and when it starts functioning exactly the way I want it to work!
6. I want to establish a firm and hire atleast hundred people.
*** Right now I am trying to save my job! So this dream is still far
7. I want to get a distinction in PGDRM and PGDSCM
*** :( :( What should I tell? I paid Rs.20,000 Indian Rupees for this course in the month of July 2008. Believe me or not. I did not even touch the course books till now. Must hurry in achieving this dream too. else the validity will be gone.
8. I want to learn Skipping!
**** Another thing that I am neglecting out of sheer laziness. Bought a skipping wire and jumped a couple of times. Thats it. Now the rope is sleeping in its box!
9. I want to take my mother and brother to a foreign tour.
*** I need atleast Three laks spare amount to acheive this! what else Can I say?
10. I want to inspire atleast three people. They must be influenced with my words or my life.
*** I am not making concious effort for this. But one or two mentioned that I am inspiring them! Don't know how!
